The High Plains Youth Hockey Association (HPYHA) is affiliated with theMid West Amateur Hockey Association (MWAHA), the regional body of USA Hockey, the governing body of amateur and youth hockey in the United States.

HPYHA is a non-profit organization which allows boys and girls ages 4 thru 18 the opportunity to play hockey in the western High Plains of the United States.Our teams are the Western Kansas Outlaws.

Our Mission is to promote, develop and administer a hockey program. This program is meant to serve the youth of Southwest Kansas and surrounding areas. Our principal purpose is to provide the athletes in the appropriate age group the opportunity to participate in a hockey environment by offering (i) quality coaching, (ii) adequate ice time for practice and skill development, and (iii) exposure to advanced participation in higher caliber games and tournaments.
